Summer FlowersSummer is here and what lovely weather we have been having. Summer flowers are so pretty perfect for birthdays, anniversaries, or just because. It is the best time of year for roses, gerbera, snapdragons, scabious, alchemilla mollis and sweet william to name but a few.

Basket arrangements are very popular at the moment, a selection of summer flowers with that 'just picked' look will put a smile on every ones face. We are busy delivering to all parts of Bilston, Wolverhampton, Dudley and the surrounding areas, with floral gifts, wine, champagne, balloons and handmade Belgian chocolates. All the things that delight and spoil the recipient. It’s almost time for Bilston to bloom, and this year we have really gone to town with the vast array of plants and planted gifts that look wonderful outside the front of our shop.

With a little help, we could help the town to gain gold this year. Prom season is also upon us and there is a wide range of styles and colours of wrist corsages and buttonholes to suit every outfit. We use lots of accessories including diamantes, pearls, feathers and decorative wire. Gerberas and orchids have been a really popular choice in the past. The ladies in the shop have been very busy already this year with wedding flowers.

We have had some lovely wedding flowers to create, and have decorated venues such as the Ramada Hotel on Goldthorn Hill and the Rodbaston in Penkridge. This is a really lovely venue that over looks beautiful gardens perfect for photographs. Some of the venues we have decorated in the past have been Himley Hall, The Mount Hotel in Tettenhall, The Mill at Alverley and lots of local churches including Saint Bartholomews in Wednesbury, St Chads in Coseley, St Marys and Christ church in Coseley. There has been a vast variety of colours and styles that the florists have created. We have had many Cadbury purple themes and sugary pastels using Vendella and Avelanche roses.

The most popular this season is the vintage look, beautiful summer flowers arranged in loose pretty tied bunches for the bride and bridesmaids and table decor using old fashioned milk bottles, the kind I drank from as a child at school. So a busy time for us florists, early mornings and late evenings but so worthwhile. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us directly.
