Winter is fast approaching and it’s a magical time to get married, we have somef="http://www.theorchardflorist.co.uk/wedding-flowers/">wedding flowers to arrange over the next few weeks. The flowers in winter are lovely with lots of scented hyacinths and muscari, tulips and hellebores. Our brides have chosen different themes from frosty and frothy with lots of gypsophillia and crystals to lush and warm with red velvety roses, apples, Ivy and contoured hazel.
We work with all budgets and styles of weddings it may be small and intimate with a few guests, or an elaborate church wedding with a marquee reception, each wedding is as important to us as it is to the bride and groom. We have decorated many local churches and reception venues and each time they look so different as there are so many flower varieties and colours available. Accessories also play a huge part with the use of ostrich feathers, pearl garlands and sparkling crystals and gems.
Vintage style weddings were really popular thorough the summer and I am sure the trend will carry on into next year, we used patterned cups and saucers for our table arrangements, bunting around the tablecloths and lovely summer garden flowers for a real vintage feel.
